The Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles have blown two games in a row against bad teams. I think that means that the season is essentially over and the twlve game losing streak is about to come. Im not reading any more about the orioles unless its about trades or next year. I obviously HOPE Im wrong about the massive losing streak and the losing season, but at this point, Im not so positive about this. I hope all goes well,

I was watching youtube videos recently, when found a video of this guy singing in Hebrew, but in the style of early Bob Dylan. It turns out that this guy is a guy named Ari Ben Yam and he sings Zionistic folk music with most song lyrics in Hebrew, but a few in English. Apparently the guy is origionally from the former Soviet Union, and moved to Israel later on in life. I find it interesting that both Jewish and Israeli musicians play mainstream styles of music. I found it intersting because oin this new age of communication, youtube and facebook and stuff, music and culture would get more diverse, not more alike. It seems that the more we communicate as a society, the more similiar our music becomes. I dont neccesarrily mean that in a negtaive way, becuase Ari Ben Yam's music is very good, but when it comes to more well known music, to me, it is just kind of rediculous. When I listen to the radio, it sounds to me like every male voice sounds like John Mayer, and every band sounds like some form of Radiohead or something (especially the Towson university radio station, which is actually the only one I can tolerate). Its those situations where I disapprove of all modern music sounding the same.

My intersts

In this time of mass confusion and question, I seek the truth and have recently developed an interst in philosophy which I understand is a very broad term, but I think it gets the point across. Also I realize that most are probably intersted in the truth, but I feel like there are may who have that interwst but dont actually pursue it. I dont feel like I have a solid opinion on many things, because depending on who I am talking to I am either a beliver in evolution or I vehemently believe there was no evolution. This is just one exapmle of an issue I am struggling to come to terms on. When it cmes to stuff I have an actual solid opinion on though, I usually am not subject to change, but there areent many things I have a solid, non changing opinion on.
